Princess of Oman

Previously on Hadithi ya Alfajiri Safi, Yasmina and her friends solved a kidnapping case and fled from Zanzibar on Shaban's boat, only to get shipwrecked in Anjouan before heading to Mayotte on Eliakim's boat. 

Upon everyone arriving in the shores of Mtsamboro, they saw several people running towards a strange path.

"Ei, o que passa aqui? (Hey, what's going on here?)", says Bruno in Portuguese.

A young mother told him that the house was on fire, before telling everyone to come follow her to the house.

By the time they arrived to the burning house, they saw people surrounding the scene and a woman trying to put out the fire with a water bucket.

The firefighters showed up and told the people surrounding the scene along with the woman to let them take care of the fire.

After the fire was extinguished and the house being half-burnt from it, the police showed up and took the woman away.

3 days later, while Yatomi was on her way home from buying pastry, she saw an unconscious woman on the ground, surrounded by several people wearing white tunics.

"Qu'est-qui ce passe ici? (What's going on here?)", she said in French.

"On a trouvé la princesse devant la mosquée (We found the princess in front of the mosque)", one of the locals responded to her.

"Pourquoi vous l'appellez princesse? (Why are you calling her princess?)", the other local responded.

Suddenly, Imran showed up and told them that the woman was a niece of the sultan of Oman, who got shipwrecked after she departed from Madagascar through a boat.

"Princesse, il habite où ton oncle? (Princess, where does your uncle live?)", the local imam said to the woman.

Suddenly, the woman woke up and told the imam that her uncle lives in Zanzibar.

"So, your uncle must be the sultan of Oman, right?", said the imam.

The woman nodded yes, and introduced herself as Sujud.

Sujud then explained to the people that she travelled on a boat from Oman to Anjouan where she stayed there for a few days before attempting to head towards the Seychelles on that same boat only to get shipwrecked in Mayotte.

After she explained her story, she walked out of the scene, only to never return.

Later that night, while they were all sitting in the rooftop of xyuro's house, Yatomi told the rest of the story to Bruno, Yara and Yasmina, who were shocked to find out that Sujud was apparently the niece of the sultan of Oman and wanted to know more about her.

While they were busy talking downstairs, after putting her phone far away from her bed, xyuro slowly fell asleep in her own bed.

Soon, xyuro woke up in a dream where she found herself in the streets of Amsterdam after she came out from a taxi in neighboring Belgium, and saw an apartment where she'll be staying with Hessel.

"Wait, am I sure that I'm going to adapt to this country?", xyuro said.

She then rang on the doorbell, only for Maddox to open the door.

"Hey xyuro, long time no see!", he said while hugging her at the same time.

"You too, Maddox! Actually, what floor will I be staying?", xyuro asked him.

"You'll be going to the 4th floor. Come with me.", Maddox responded.

xyuro then follows Maddox to her room in the 4th floor of the building, where they both enter and meet her new roommate Hessel.

"Welcome, xyuro! Let me help you unpack your luggage.", says Hessel.

"So you guys speak French?", xyuro asked.

Maddox nodded yes and told her about his French heritage, which to his surprise, she told him about her heritage and afterwards, he helped her unpack her belongings before moving to his room.

Later that night, after she was done unpacking her belongings thanks to Maddox's help, xyuro heard noises of Hessel and his girlfriend Anoushka being intimate with each other.

xyuro thought to herself "No way, what is that couple doing? What have I fallen to? I've never felt something that crazy with some of my terrible lovers."

"Man, I wish I could go back to France and forget about all of this."

After thinking to herself, xyuro decided to call her mother, telling her that she has already arrived in the Netherlands.

She then explains to her mother the rest of the story before falling asleep.

The next day, xyuro decided to go to a park with Hessel, Anoushka and Maddox, before they all headed towards a café.

There, she had a conversation with Maddox, and saw Hessel and Anoushka making out in public.

"Oh my god, I've seen people kissing through the photos in the past, but I've never seen anything like that in public.", says xyuro.

"You sure about that? I'm going to change that by the time we get to your bedroom.", Maddox responded while joking.

Later that night, they found themselves in bed.

"xyuro, I want to try this with you. I promise that it'll be fun, okay?", Maddox asked her.

"Okay, wait a second, Maddox. If my family finds out about this, they're gonna kill me for this.", xyuro panicked.

He reassured her and said "Don't worry about that, xyuro, it's just a secret between us."

Afterwards, Maddox started kissing xyuro to the point where he entertained her throughout the night.

By the time xyuro woke up the next morning, she found herself in the real world and saw a paper containing Maddox's number under the pillow along with his handwriting.

"Last night with you was fun! When you're in the mood, call me at any time and we're gonna do it again."

Upon reading his handwriting, xyuro was shocked.

"Hold on, I don't remember spending the night with him last night.", she said before calling the number.

To her surprise, Maddox answered and he told her that she had slept with him last night.

After ending the call, xyuro went back to sleep.

Later that morning, xyuro walked towards a forest near her neighbor's house, only to find Yasmina and Eliakim.

"Wait, what are Yasmina and Eliakim doing?", xyuro said before walking towards them.

Eliakim tells xyuro that someone's been waiting for her in front of a nearby house and to go see them right away, to which she agreed and walked away.

By the time she got there, she saw a man about her age standing in front of the nearby house. 

Everyone in the neighborhood thought he was a girl due to his physique, only for him to tell xyuro his name and that he's actually a man dressing as a girl.

"Ah, I see. My bad. I thought you were a girl or something.", says xyuro.

"No, that's fine by me. I don't care if people think that I'm a girl but everyone knows that I'm a boy. Anyways, can I tell you something?", says Yukiya.

He continued with "xyuro, will you go out with me for some pastries?", to which xyuro nodded and they both held hands before walking down the stairs to where Yatomi found Sujud.

Soon, they arrived at the patisserie and bought some pastries before leaving and walking towards a bench near a mosque to eat said pastries.

After eating the pastries, xyuro and Yukiya headed towards a nearby beach, where they saw Sujud on a boat.

"U sendra havi, princesse? (Where are you going, princess?)", one of the fishermen said to Sujud in the local language.

"Oman.", Sujud responded in Arabic.

"Don't forget to send us some souvenirs from Oman!", says a young single mother while waving at her.

After parting ways with the people, Sujud went on a long journey to Oman on a boat, only to be never seen again.

Later that night, while on the rooftop of her house, xyuro sets up a carpet for her and Yukiya to sit in to watch the stars.

"Wow, the stars are amazing, right?", xyuro said.

"Yes they are, just like you.", Yukiya responded.

By then, they saw Yasmina and Eliakim riding on a flying carpet, along with their neighbors, who came over to watch.

After this was all over, xyuro and Yukiya folded the carpet and walked downstairs to bring them back to where they were placed before heading towards her bed, where they spent the night with each other.

The next morning, xyuro escorted Yukiya out of her house, with them sharing their contact info and a goodbye kiss, before she moved on to other things.

After a while, xyuro was now on her computer and started picking up the story where she left off about Yara and Lael's vacations from 7 months prior.

One day, Yara dressed up in an hijab and abaya at home before heading to a koranic school with her bag.

While on her way to the school, she saw her boyfriend Lael and waved at him.

"Oh hey, it's a while! Where are you going, my love?", says Lael.

"I'm going to a religious school.", says Yara.

"That's great. Can I go there with you?", he continued.

"Of course!", Yara responded.

And so, after a few minutes, Yara and Lael finally made it to the koranic school before heading to the entrance of said school.

One Night in Zanzibar

Previously on Hadithi ya Alfajiri Safi, Yasmina went through several misadventures throughout Egypt from car problems to a full-blown drama involving Imtiaz's past relationship before travelling to Zanzibar Island with her friends.

One day, Yasmina woke up in a hotel room in the city of Zanzibar, to the staff greeting her.

She then asked the staff about her friends' whereabouts and they told her that they're staying at a different hotel a few minutes away from the hotel where she was staying at the whole night.

After dressing into a headscarf and abaya in addition to checking out of the hotel with her bag, Yasmina headed to the different hotel in search for her friends.

While on the way, she heard an adhan from a faraway mosque and headed to the mosque in order to pray.

By the time she got out of the mosque, she found out that her bag was stolen and one of the locals told her that a boy named Rajab stole her bag, which led to her getting to a fight with him.

Just as Rajab was about to hit her, Bakari showed up kicking him to the ground and holding her stolen bag.

Yasmina tried to punch Bakari, but he tried to grab her wrists, only for her to grab his arms and throw him to the ground before grabbing her bag and running away from the scene.

Meanwhile, while Yasmina was walking towards the hotel to find her friends, she heard a group of locals whispering to themselves in both Swahili and English.

"So, umemwona? Hiyo ni Yasmina. Shukrani kwake, tulimwondoa mwidzi who stole from us for years. (So, have you seen her? That's Yasmina. Thanks to her, we got rid of the thief who stole from us for years.)", one of them said.

"It's a good thing that yuko hapa na sio mbaya hata kidogo. (It's a good thing that she's here and is not bad at all.)", the other responded.

After hearing from them, she headed to the other hotel, where she saw Yara, Bruno, Yatomi and Nate waving at her while sitting in one of the tables.

"Yasmina, here's a chair for you to sit on.", Bruno said, while smiling at her, who then sat on the chair he placed for her.

After they had a great time, just as they were about to head to bed, they saw a letter on the top of one of the beds.

"Hey, where did Imran go?", Nate asked.

Yara showed Nate the letter she grabbed from the bed.

"If you want to find Imran, give us 10,000 shillings so we can free him."

Upon reading the letter, everyone got shocked and found out that Imran was kidnapped by a group of delinquents.

Soon, everyone began making plans to save Imran from his kidnappers.

The next day, Yasmina teamed up with her friends to find Imran and save him from his kidnappers, who took him to a secret location within a village in the northern part of the island before fleeing to Pemba Island on a fishing boat.

As soon as they arrived to the village, Yara asked the villagers if they had seen Imran and most of them had no clue who he is, except for a woman, who personally knew one of the kidnappers.

"I know where they're holding Imran hostage. They're in Pemba, so if you want to find him, you can find someone who can bring you all there.", the woman said.

Upon listening to the woman's advice, they went to the beach, where Nate asked a local man to bring him and his friends to Pemba with a fishing boat, to which the man took them on a boat in exchange for money.

As soon as they arrived in Pemba Island, they asked a fisherman if she had seen Imran and to their surprise, she told them that she has seen Imran with the kidnappers, who spoke a dialect of Malagasy.

Just as they were talking about the situation, Imran showed up running with a torn burqa he stole from one of the kidnappers' older sisters and the bag they stole from him.

"Imran, thank god you made it free. What happened?", Yasmina asked.

Imran then explained to her that the kidnappers saw him on his way to his hotel room in Zanzibar to join Yara, Nate, Bruno and Yatomi after praying at the same mosque as Yasmina and used it as an opportunity to steal his bag before kidnapping him and taking him to this place.

"So why are you wearing a burqa?", Yara responded.

"They forced me to remove my kanzu and my kofia, so while they were away, I used this as an opportunity to steal one of their older sisters' burqa."

Soon, one of the kidnappers' older sisters overheard their conversation and saw Imran wearing her burqa.

She then tried to grab the burqa by force, only for Imran to remove it, accidentally exposing himself in his black tank top and underwear to everyone's shock that he quickly dressed himself in a secondhand kanzu to cover his body out of embarrassment.

He then proceeded to flee to Zanzibar with Yasmina, Yara, Nate, Bruno and Yatomi on a fishing boat, where they stayed at a completely different hotel for the night.

The next day, Yara turned on the TV, only to find out that Imran's kidnappers were arrested for fraud, theft and kidnapping.

After eating breakfast and leaving the hotel, the six of them were now in a beach in the southern Zanzibar.

Bruno then said to Yatomi and Yasmina in Portuguese "Agora que salvamos Zanzibar de uma gangue, o que devemos fazer durante esta viagem? (Now that we saved Zanzibar from a gang, what should we do throughout this trip in the islands?)"

Suddenly, Shaban told them in Swahili that something bad is going on in mainland Tanzania and showed them a video that he saved on the phone.

"It's not safe for you all to stay in Zanzibar.", he said before telling them to go to his boat.

By the time Bruno, Yatomi, Yasmina, Yara, Nate and Imran got on the boat, Shaban gave them life jackets for them to wear and put a life jacket on himself before leaving the shores of Zanzibar by boat.

Several hours later, Yasmina found herself washed ashore in a beach of Anjouan.

She then got up from the ground and began sitting on the sand.

"Was it really that one night in Zanzibar? But wait, where are my friends?"

As Yasmina walked through the beach, she saw a young man with curly hair.

"Eliakim, have you seen my friends?", Yasmina asked the man.

"Yes. I know where they are. Follow me.", he responded.

Yasmina and Eliakim walked to an another beach, where they saw Yara, Bruno, Yatomi, Nate and Imran sitting on the ground.

"Wait, what happened? Why are we in Anjouan?" Bruno asked.

Imran explained to Bruno that the boat they were on a few minutes before capsized near Anjouan and that Shaban was nowhere to be found.

After being stranded in Mutsamudu for a few days, Yasmina and her friends headed towards the city of Domoni, where they were at a beach once again, and saw a large fishing boat to the point where Eliakim decided to take them in and they all headed towards a nearby island.

"I hope that this boat doesn't get capsized like the last one did in Zanzibar.", says Nate.

"For real though.", says Imran.
